Why OLEA

Every brand in this category sells a similar unit. The pods are built in the same part of the world, to the same dimensions, and the specification tables are close enough to be interchangeable. Comparing them line by line will not tell you much.

What differs is who is still standing behind it once it is bolted into your yard — in three years, when something needs a part. That is harder to put in a brochure, so here is ours in full.

We hold stock in Australia, ready to go.

Many sellers in this category take a deposit, then place an order with the factory. The pod gets built, waits for a container, crosses the ocean, clears customs and is trucked to you. That is the standard model, and it is why lead times here are measured in months.

We buy the container first. Pods come in by full container load and are held in Winning Services warehouses here in Australia, with the first landing mid-October. The pod you order already exists on a warehouse floor.

There is a team in Australia to call.

The usual arrangement in this category is a mobile number and a Gmail address. That works fine right up until something goes wrong — which, on a twenty thousand dollar fixed installation, is exactly when it matters.

OLEA is backed by a staffed customer service team working Sydney hours, with a ticketing system behind it, so your question gets a reference number instead of disappearing into somebody's inbox.

Established service team, across Australia.

A pod is not a barbecue. It holds a fridge, a range hood, a motorised canopy, a television, a projector, lighting and a tap. Every one of those has a service life, and somewhere across a decade one of them will need a part.

That is normal. What matters is whether the part exists, and who puts it in a box for you.

OSASS has run parts and warranty in Australia since 2020 across two other appliance brands, out of our own warehouse. OLEA uses the same operation, the same shelves and the same people.

A company with a history

OLEA is a brand of OSASS Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 28 644 539 668, based in Alexandria in Sydney. We have imported appliances into Australia since 2020 and turn over more than $10 million a year. Our sister brands are LeCavist, which sells wine cabinets, and Linärie, which sells kitchen appliances.

None of that is glamorous. It matters because of the question sitting underneath a purchase like this one: will these people still be here down the line, when I need something from them?

We would rather answer that with an ABN, a warehouse and a trading history than with an adjective.
