Delivery

Delivery is not included in the price of a pod, and is quoted site, once we know what yours need, rather than publishing a headline figure with conditions attached. We quote it per site, once we know what yours actually needs — and then that is the number you pay.

Where the stock sits

Pods come in by full container load and are held in warehouses here in Australia. The first container lands mid-October. From then on you are booking a delivery date rather than waiting on a factory.

How freight is quoted

Freight is paid by you and quoted after we have looked at your site. Looking at your driveway gives you a real figure, and a national flat rate would not.

What moves the number: distance from the warehouse, whether a crane or hiab is needed and for how long, how far the lift has to reach, whether the truck can stand legally on your street or needs a permit, and how much of the day the job takes.

Connection is quoted separately again. Gas, electrical and plumbing are licensed work that you arrange, so they sit outside the delivery quote.

Send us your address and a photo of your side access, and we will come back with a quotation.

Oversize constraints

It is the crate that has to reach your yard, and it is bigger than the pod itself.

OLEA Riviera 24: 2.6 x 1.2 x 2.55 m, 7.96 m3. OLEA Santorini 36: 3.0 x 1.2 x 2.55 m, 9.18 m3. OLEA Monaco 38: 3.5 x 1.2 x 2.55 m, 10.71 m3

Height catches people out far more often than width. Measure gateways, side passages, eaves and any carport the crate has to pass under, and tell us about anything tight well before delivery day.

What happens on the day

01

Before the truck arrives

Your slab is cured, services are stubbed up at the marked positions, and the access path and crane standing position are clear, with cars and bins moved out of the way.

02

The lift

The crane truck sets up and the crated pod is lifted over the house or the fence line to the placement position. Everyone stays clear of the lift zone while it happens.

03

Placement and check

The pod is set on the slab and checked for level before the crew leaves. The canopy and the doors both depend on it sitting level.

04

Inspection and sign-off

You inspect the pod with the crew present and sign for it.

Damage and inspection

The crew stays while you look the pod over. If anything is not right, point it out on the spot, note it on the delivery paperwork before you sign, then ring the Sydney team the same day and we will take it from there.
